Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese 454 g, at room temperature
  • 4 oz chipped beef 113 g, minced, divided (set aside 1/4 cup for coating)
  • 5 green onions chopped, divided (set aside 1/4 cup for coating)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese 113 g, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Method

  1. Using a mixer bowl, whip the room-temperature cream cheese until smooth. Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seasoned salt, green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and chipped beef.
  2. Place the mixture in the middle of a large sheet of plastic wrap. Pull the plastic wrap edges together and twist to fully cover the mixture. With your hands or by rolling on a counter, form it into a ball.
  3. Chill for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Scatter the set-aside chipped beef and green onions onto a plate or into a large bowl. Remove the plastic wrap from the cheese ball and roll it in the beef and onions until coated.
  5. Offer with crackers, vegetables, or sliced bread.
