Ingredients

  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter 1 stick / 113 g, melted
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp seasoned salt such as Lawry's
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups bagel chips
  • 4 1/2 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 4 1/2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
  • 3 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup roasted, salted peanuts

Method

  1. Set oven to 250°F (120°C) and prepare 2 rimmed baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until completely smooth.
  3. Place the bagel chips in a large bowl and break them by hand into bite-sized pieces. Add the Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, mini pretzel twists, and peanuts. Gently toss to mix.
  4. Drizzle half the butter mixture over the Chex mixture and toss gently to coat. Add the rest of the butter mixture and toss again until all pieces are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly between the prepared baking sheets. Bake, stirring every 15 minutes, until lightly browned and crisp, 45 to 50 minutes total. Let cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before serving.
  6. After fully cooling, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for several weeks.
